Comparing Big G & K Slicker Brushes
Each will work effectively but will take knots out easier depending on coat density. For dense, thick double coats such as Bouvier de Flandres and Black Russian Terriers use the Big K. For lighter, curly, cottony coats for breeds such as Poodles and "doodles" use the Big G. As a professional groomer, you should really have both unless you simply want to try it out. You won’t go wrong with either, trust me, this brush will change your grooming forever!
